HTLV Bursary Scheme 2026

HTLV infections are most common in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) and infection and its’ consequences are associated with health inequity. Thus, the organisers of HTLV2026 are keen to encourage broad participation in the 22nd Biennial International Conference on Human Retrovirology: HTLV and related viruses of people affected by HTLV, of researchers, particularly working in LMIC and of students.

To this end, the organisers of HTLV2026 have set up a bursary scheme which is open to the aforementioned groups, to encourage patients and their representatives and those pursuing, through research, education or healthcare, advances in the understanding and management of Human T-cell lymphotropic viruses. The funds are specifically to pay for costs relating to attendance at the HTLV2026 Conference, Philadelphia 3rd – 6th June 2026.
